Hi Loves,
It’s Summer! Well not officially, but in the sense that school is out and I have more time to do all the fun things I’ve been meaning to do. Every Summer I love making a bucket list of to do spare time I have during these the three months. Sometimes it’s a long list but sometimes it’s just a few things I’ve been dying to get to.
Let’s get into it!
1.) Have a beach picnic!
Of course going to the beach would be something I want to do, but I want to do it a little different this time. I want a proper beach picnic with some sandwiches, cold drinks, and maybe a nice sunset to go along with it.
2.) Explore restaurants in Cambridge!
If you don’t know, I work in Cambridge and I spend a lot of time walking around and coming across amazing restaurants that smell so good but I never have time to stop in. Time for that to change, I’m making a list of Cambridge restaurants to go to and I seriously hope they are as good as they smell.
3.) Go Hiking in New Hampshire!
I’ve been seeing a lot of people posting pictures of beautiful hikes in New Hampshire and I’ve been wanting to get there so badly. I love hiking so much and I didn’t get to do as much as I would have liked last summer, so hopefully I can change that this summer.
4.) Expand my plant collection!
Okay yes, I’m kind of a crazy plant lady, but plants are just so nice to have in the house. I have a few different types in my room but I’ve been wanting to add a few more, the only problem is I don’t know where to put them… some rearranging will need to be done to get this accomplished, but I have faith!
5.) Read 10 Books!
I’ve been wanting to get more into reading recently, I have about an hour-long commute to work which is plenty of time to read a few chapters, but I haven’t been motivated to actually bring a book with me. That will change though, I am motivated to read 10 books starting now!
6.) Go to the MFA more often!
I love the Museum of Fine Arts, but I have not been getting there as often as I would like to admit. If I get there 2 to 3 times a month that would make me so happy! I can literally walk there from my apartment, so I really have no excuse.
That’s my list so far, I don’t know if I will add things or take things off the list, but I can’t wait to start crossing things off! Summer activities are my favorite things, so if you have any suggestions for things that absolutely NEED to be on my list then please let me know. I’d love to know what activities you have planned for this summer, feel free to share. Thanks for reading!
Love,
Me/E
