If You Must: Phone Case

Hi Loves,

Long time no talk! I’ve missed you guys and writing so much! Will do a life update at some point, but for now let’s talk about a new series I’m starting called If You Must! In this series we will discuss some of the best low waste items to purchase (if you must). These are not items to horde or items to over indulge on. They are for you to have in mind as a low waste and sustainable option if you’re going to be buying something anyway.

I wanted to kick off this series with a product that most of us probably have already, and I know a lot of people who get new ones frequently. Our first brand is…. (drum roll please) Pela Case!

If you’re like me and don’t trust yourself with a naked phone, then there’s a good chance you have a phone case. If you’re like many people I know, there’s a good chance you get a new phone every year or every two years. While I may not support the idea of new technology so frequently, I understand why people do it. SO, if you’re someone who’s in the market for a new phone case, why not get one that’s stylish, made from plants, and compostable!

Some of their styles…

They have loads more options including a limited edition hemp collection! The cases are shipped plastic free as well which for me really makes or breaks a “environmentally friendly” company.

My Review: I’ve had this case for just over a year and I love it! I’ve dropped my phone so many times and it’s been fine after everything (obviously that may not be everyones experience). I think they have a great selection of colors and causes you can support depending on what kind of environmentalist you are, and they offer a wide range of cases from Iphone to Samsung and Google phones.

I hope this If You Must review is helpful and gives you another option for environmental phone cases. Let me know what else you’d like to hear about if you’re in the market for items that you want to be environmentally friendly next time around.

Thanks for reading!
