Hi Loves,
Recently I’ve been very into moving towards a low waste lifestyle. While I know that is hard to imagine there are actually some easy steps you can take to start your low waste adventure (coming soon in another blog post). In this post I want to talk to you about the reusable straw company I’ve discovered and become absolutely obsessed with.
They’re called Koffie Straw and they make silicone straws that have an oval shape which is perfect to sit between your teeth while you’re drinking coffee so it doesn’t stain your teeth. While I wasn’t necessarily looking for a coffee straw, having one that sits behind my teeth is a nice perk to these. I’ve always been obsessed with my teeth, probably because when I receive a compliment it’s almost always “you have a great smile” or “your teeth are so white”, so now I feel the need to keep them that way. It’s always good to protect your teeth!
Now, you may be thinking “but it’s so hard to clean a reusable straw, I don’t want to have to purchase a separate little brush to clean it!” WELL let me tell you something; the Koffie Straw 2 pack comes with a cleaning brush! SO helpful!

Sugar Plum 7″ straw
There’s 5 colors of straws (Navy, Mocha, Surf, Pink, and Sugar Plum) and they come in 2 sizes (7″ and 10″). That said, you can trim the straw to fit your travel cup. I have both short and tall cups, but I didn’t find it necessary to trim the straw for the short cups. Prices range from $9.99 – $11.99 depending on what pack you get. No matter how you flip it, it’s a good deal for you and the environment.
As for traveling with these guys, it’s super easy in my opinion. I always travel with my bamboo silverware set from To Go Ware so I just slip my Koffie Straw and cleaning brush in there for travel. One suggestion if you’re out and about drinking coffee with milk in it definitely give your straw a rinse quick before you put it in your bag just to give it a chance to get most of the milk out if you can’t give it a good clean right away. For any dairy free drinks you’re typically fine if you don’t get to rinse it right away.
If you have any additional questions about Koffie Straw feel free to reach out to me! Thanks for reading!
