Weekend Exploring: Spring Break Edition

Hi Loves,

It is time for spring break 2k16, and this year I decided to go visit my grandmother at her place in Fort Pierce, FL. It was a really beautiful 4 days on the sandy beaches, tanning, kayaking, and just enjoying the 80 degree weather. I took a lot of photos while I was down there, so here are the ones I thought were best to share with you guys! I hope you enjoy!

Weekend Exploring: Re-discovering the Beauty in Boston

Hi Loves,

Boston is such an amazing city, but being busy with school and work doesn’t allow for much time to really embrace the beauty the city has to offer. So on the weekends I like to take what little time I have and find the beauty in new places around Boston. This is the start of a new weekend series where I will be sharing with you the photos from my weekends around Boston, or if I’m away then photos from where ever I am on the weekends! I’ve also just learned about what VSCO is… I don’t know how it took me so long to figure out, but you can check out my VSCO site, here.

This weekend my awesome friend Mitchie, check out her website here, and I decided to go to the Cambridge side mall and do some shopping. Of course she brought her camera with her, as any good photographer would do, and I brought my phone, as any good blogger would do. As we were walking to the mall we got distracted by the many beautiful views that Boston holds, so here I’m going to share them with you.

Breast Cancer Awareness Walk

Hi Loves,

October is Breast Cancer Awareness last Sunday I was able to participate in a breast cancer walk here in Boston. It was 5 miles all around the Charles River, and it was the perfect fall day. I’ll admit after the first 2 miles I thought my legs might fall off. I try to be as active as possible but when it comes down to it I’m just not a sporty girl. Thankfully I had friends with me so it was really a team effort! By some amazing feat we were able to finish all 5 miles, and our team raised a good amount of money for the American Cancer Association. At the end of the walk there were tons of people cheering us on and snack packs waiting for us. It was so fulfilling to know we did something for such a good cause, and we had a fun time doing it.

Panic At The Disco!

Hi Loves,
Tonight I went to the free Panic At The Disco concert that was put on by local radio station 92.9. It was an awesome show full of old songs and their new one. They closed the show with I Write Sins Not Tragedies and it was AMAZING! I’m so happy I got to go with my friends, it made for a fab girls night. Although some of the crowed got rowdy and tried to start a mosh pit we didn’t let it ruin our fun! After the show we grabbed slushies from 7/11, it was the perfect ending to a fun night!

Indian Brook Waterfall

Hi Loves,
Not too long ago my family and I decided to go on a hike together to Indian Brook Waterfall in Garison N.Y. It was a VERY hot day and honestly this hike was perfect! We were in the shade almost the entire time and the waterfall was so refreshing! It was deep enough to swim in, although none of us brought bathing suits, but we did bring some yummy peaches and apples from our garden and we had an environmentally friendly snack at the falls!

Summer Carnival

Hi Loves,
Tis the season for prizes, rides, and everything fried! Carnival/fair season is here! I went to my first carnival of the season on a fab friday night. Carnivals and fairs are one of the things I love most about summer, you can meet up with your friends, go on some fun rides, and eat some really really good food (my new favorite being fried Oreos!).

Hiking Bash Bish Falls

Hi Loves,
Last week my friends and I went on an adventure to Bash Bish falls in upstate NY. It wasn’t the sunniest day but it was still a lot of fun. I have a lot of friends who have been there but I had never been myself. The waterfalls were breath taking, and I honestly could not believe this was only an hour drive from my house and I had never been there.

My First Time Geocaching

Hi Loves,

This weekend while spending the day with the kids I babysit I took them to a local park. I’ve heard of geocaching before and thought it would be a fun thing for us to do on our excursion. The first one we found was XS and had a list of people’s names and initials with dates. It was really cool to see all the people that had found the cach before we did. They loved exploring and searching for the geocach, it was fun to see!

Stone Church Hike

Hi Loves,
On Tuesday before going into work my friend and I decided to go for a hike to a place called The Stone Church a couple towns over from where we live. The day was perfect and the walk was so much fun. When we got to the cave, at the end of the trail, we kicked off our shoes and waded through the water to cool off. We really wanted to try and make it to the top of the cave where the waterfall starts from so we tried to hike up the side of it where we saw people coming down from.
