London 2017 Photo Journal

Hi Loves,

My #SpringBreak2017 has officially ended, and instead of going to some warm tropical place and getting a tan like most people would do, I went across the pond to London. If you don’t know my best friend is studying in London and she was kind enough to let me stay with her and show me all of her favorite spots in London. By the end of my week I’d fallen in love with London and the English country side. I will definitely have to go back, if not to see my friend again, then for the AMAZING Indian food!

On to the photos:

Oh Canada! Photo Journal

Hi Loves,

Remember that time I went to Canada? No? That might be because I never got around to posting my photo journal. Better late than never right? My trip to Canada was a girls trip in the summer of 2016 with my mom, my aunt, and my cousin. We left at 5 am and drove up to Niagara falls, spent some time there then drove over to Toronto. We were in Toronto for a couple of days (I searched for Drake the entire time). We ate some amazing food and saw some pretty cool art. Then we drove over to Montreal where my cousin and I shared our first legal drink, ate some more amazing food, and saw some of the city’s history. When it was time to leave Canada we had one more adventure back in New York before we returned home. We stopped and went hiking then rafting, which are two of my favorite activities. I hope you enjoy the photos!

2016: A Year In Review

Hi Loves,

My initial instinct when I think of 2016 is to say that the year was completely awful, but taking a closer look I have to say I had a lot of fun times this past year. I wanted to take sometime to reflect on the fun bits of the year before I look forward to what 2017 has in store for me.

I started off the year by attending a show that was part of New York Fashion Week. I love fashion, and being in that kind of environment was so fun. I’ve always wanted to go to a NYFW show, so I’m so thrilled I got to check this off my bucket list.

Fall in New York

img_2901

Hi Loves,

Over the long weekend in October I headed back to the Hudson Valley to take some time off from the busy life in the city. It was a nice change of pace being home and seeing the amazing fall foliage that upstate New York has to offer. From a hot air balloon ride to an amazing brunch by the Beacon Falls it was a great time at home.

Weekend Exploring: Charles River Views

FullSizeRender (16)

Hi Loves,

One night last week I decided to walk home from work. Now not all the way from work to home, but instead of taking the Red Line to Park Street and then taking the Green Line to Kenmore, I got off at Charles/MGH and walked down the Charles River Esplanade home to Fenway.

I wont lie, it’s the most walking I’ve done in a long time, I was in physical pain the next day! But the view was beautiful, I couldn’t resist walking next to that stunning sunset.

Fitbit Local

Hi Loves,

It’s summer for me, and during the summer I like finding ways to stay active, but I don’t have the money to spend on crazy excursions, so if it’s free it’s for me! Fitbit is a brand I’ve come to love over the past year, I have a Fitbit Flex and I love using it and tracking my activity on a daily basis. So when I got the email that Fitbit was now hosting FREE local events, I semi freaked out and signed up within 2 minutes.

The first event they had in Boston was their first one on the East Coast, I took Felicity with me and we both got free yoga mats. There was a 45 minute workout and then another 45 minute yoga session, after that there were delicious snacks from Kind Snacks, tee shirts from Fitbit Local, and AMAZING juice from Suja!

The second event was this past Thursday in the Common, I had so much fun. Our Fitbit Local leader, Chad, pushed us through a crazy workout that left me sore 5 minutes after we finished.
