Denim has been everywhere recently, so I’vepicked up an awesome denim dress to rock. I decided to style it 4 ways, so I’ll be sure to get a lot of wear out of it. I’ve never had one specific style, so I love having the option to wear my clothing a few different ways, to kind of mix it up a bit. I hope you enjoy!

If you aren’t aware it is officially Coachella Season. Probably one of the most hyped up music festivals since Woodstock, Coachella is the place where BOHO hippies of all kinds unite every year and dance for days on end. Then the rest of us get to drool over their amazing BOHO styled Instagram photos, as we look out our apartment windows at the hail… (yes it hailed last week in Boston).
I’ve put together a list of all the things I would bring to Coachella (were I so lucky to get to go), so that I could dance with the best of them!

Lets just say makeup has never really been my forte. I’ve always had MAJOR respect for anyone who can do their makeup and not come away looking like a clown, but when it came to doing my own makeup I stuck with some mascara, a tinted lipgloss and called it a day.
That said, I’ve gained more interest in makeup just in the last month or so. I do have a lot of products that I’ve gotten in swag bags from different events, as presents, or that I picked up myself but never got around to using.
I think my official addiction started when I was in NYC and met up with David Lucas (AKA @Davicrocket on Instagram) and he helped me pick out an amazing lip color from Bite Beauty. Ever since then I’ve been obsessed with finding lip colors that work on me, especially matte ones. Then I thought ‘Hmm maybe you should do some eye makeup to go with the lip colors’. Now I’ve been browsing the internet and I placed a couple of orders from MAC Cosmetics and Colourpop Cosmetics.

Boston has a new neighbor! Aritzia has arrived, and let me tell you, it is the place to be. Armed with a $25 gift card, thanks to the amazing Her Campus women, my friends and I had a girls night out and went to the opening of Aritzia on Thursday. There was food, drinks, and an amazing band; City of the Sun, check them out here. Everyone was loving the stunning clothes for spring 2016, modern mixed with a laid back vibe, and lots of blacks, whites, and neutrals in the collection. They also incorporated a lot of different textures with sued and leather baseball caps, sued leggings, and seat belt strap material bralettes.

Have you ever had makeup questions that you’re just dying to know the answers to? I have, so I asked my amazing makeup artist friend, David Lucas ( @davicrocket on Instagam). I knew he could give me helpful tips on exactly what I should be doing with my makeup in 2016 (I mean he clearly knows what he’s doing!).
Question: When did you first get into makeup?
Answer: I first got into makeup some time in High School. I used to have pretty bad acne on my forehead. I would say I didn’t have skin on my forehead just zits. So I would use makeup to cover my skin up.
Q: What was the first makeup item you bought?
A: I remember it like it was yesterday. The first pieve of make up I ever bought was the Rimmel Hide the Blemish Cover Stick. I was with my friend and we were in Ulta and I knew I wanted a concealer.

The holidays are one of my favorite times of the year, no school, seeing family, and all the food a girl can eat! So, this year I’m having trouble deciding what to wear, I won’t lie to you, last year the freshman 15 hit me hard, and when I saw my family for the holidays they noticed. This year, I’ve been working hard to make sure that those 15 pounds don’t make another surprise appearance, so I want to make sure my family notices my hard work! This look book is as much for you to get ideas as it is to help me decide what I should wear for the holidays. Not only was last Saturday, October 3, Mean Girls Day (so fetch), but it was also College Fashion Week Boston! This year had an amazing group of sponsors including Fiat, European Wax Center, Jamberry Nails, Shake Shack, Monthly Gift, Simon Malls, and Milani Cosmetics. There were 5 different stations where you could get your eyebrows filled in, learn how to put on nail decals, get some delicious frozen custard, or take some fab photos!

Tonight I went to a shopping event at the Vince store on Newbury st. All the clothes were amazing! I tried on a few different things and left with one new item. At Vince they had beautiful basics as well as three main color collections of pink, blue, and green. I snapped some photos so you guys could get an idea of some of the things they carry. I truly loved 90% of the things in the store!

So if you don’t know, Lilly Pulitzer is doing a line for Target which will go on sale April 19, 2015. Yesterday I saw that the collection has been revealed on target.com! After a couple of hours of stalking the line and taking note of everything I like I narrowed it down to the 12 things I REALLY want to attempt to get. The side of me that loves wearing dark colors all winter and fall is cringing inside looking at these bright prints. But the preppy girl deep down is falling more and more in love every time I look at the collection again! I’ve picked out the things I want to try and get my hands on so you can get a peek and then check it out for yourself!
