Wear Yellow for Seth

Hi Loves,
So today is the day to wear yellow for Seth. If you don’t know who Seth is, he is a 5 year old boy with an immune deficiency disease who is also in need of a bone marrow transplant. His favorite color is yellow, and he and his parents took to youtube and made a video asking people to wear yellow to show Seth how much support he has. If you have not watched Seth’s video I encourage you to do so. He is such an adorable little boy, how could you not support him! So today, April 27 is the day to wear yellow for seth! Hashtag your posts so Seth knows how much love he has! Snapchat has also made special imagery for the #wearyellowforseth day.

Lilly Pulitzer for Target Collection

Hi Loves,
So if you don’t know, Lilly Pulitzer is doing a line for Target which will go on sale April 19, 2015. Yesterday I saw that the collection has been revealed on target.com! After a couple of hours of stalking the line and taking note of everything I like I narrowed it down to the 12 things I REALLY want to attempt to get. The side of me that loves wearing dark colors all winter and fall is cringing inside looking at these bright prints. But the preppy girl deep down is falling more and more in love every time I look at the collection again! I’ve picked out the things I want to try and get my hands on so you can get a peek and then check it out for yourself!

Strapless Jumpsuit. Print:Upstream Price: $40.00

Tatte Bakery – Beacon Hill

Hi Loves,
Since today is such a rainy cloudy, yet still warm enough for a tank top, day in Boston, I decided to throw it back to a sunnier time in life… Yesterday. I’ve been following Tatte Bakery on Instagram since I came to Boston and every day I stare at their delicious tarts and croissant while struggling to get through the day eating dining hall food. When I heard they were opening a location in Beacon Hill, somewhat walking distance for me, I had to go! They have two other locations, one in Brookline and one in Cambridge. If you live in Boston or will be visiting then you MUST have brunch or dessert at one of their locations. Inside looked like an adorable country bakery with white tiles and wood counters. Everything looked and smelled amazing! At first I had no idea what to get, I don’t know anyone who has been to one of their locations so I had nothing to go off of. I honestly could have had one of everything, but since I’ve been so good about not over eating sugary things, I stuck with it and only left with one sugary treat. I picked up a lemon mint tart, and just the name alone had me licking my lips. I carried it all the way back to my room and didn’t eat it until after I’d had a proper dinner.

Spring… Is That You?

Hi Loves,

Today I went for the most amazing walk by the Charles River. I’ve been in Boston since September and I hadn’t walked to the Charles until today. At first I had no idea where I was going, wandering through the West End like a lost puppy, I’m sure a lot of people could tell I was out of place. Then I came to a bridge that crosses over the highway and I found my way through a park and to the water front. Today in Boston the high is 46 degrees! The sun is shining, birds are chirping, and I finally did the cliche walk by the Charles! I know it seems odd to be so excited about doing something so cliche Boston, but I live for doing cliches, don’t ask why, it’s just always been something I love. As I’m walking and thinking I’d better get back soon I stumble across a small boathouse where people are loading some of the boats into the water and tying them up to the docks. So another thing about me is that I LOVE watching boats on the water. Even if they are just tied up and no one is on them, it’s mesmerizing to me. So as I’m sitting there in the sun, with ducks floating in patches of unfrozen river, and boats bobbing at the docks it hits me. It’s finally almost spring! After months of cold cold Boston winter (we broke a record if you haven’t heard) the spring weather is finally upon us! We will not go back to that dark place we where in before where we played “snowbank or a car?” because the snowbanks where the size of cars1530260_orig

Welcome to My Blog!

Hi There,

I’m Eleni, 18 and currently going to university in Boston, MA. Right now I have no idea what I want this blog to be about or how I want it to function, however, I do know that there are a lot of things in my life I would like to document and I think this is a good way to go about that. I have a lot of likes and dislikes, and I always want to try new things. 2015 is a year of exploring new things and trying out potential options for becoming an adult. I don’t know what I want to do with the rest of my life, or tomorrow for that matter. So read along as I explore what life has to offer, maybe we can find our way together!

Love,
