After a full week of vacation I have to admit I am pleased to be home. It’s always great to escape for a while, but not forever. So, since I’m back in Boston I figure it’s time for my usual photo journal recap of what I did on my vacation.
All About My Book – Lost It

So many of you may not know that I am writing a book. It’s titled Lost It and is a collection of 100 true stories on how individuals lost their virginity. Yes, I know, this is not the kind of book people normally write. In fact I’ve truthfully never come across another book even close to what I’m doing, but I have always prided myself on being different just like my mom taught me to be (thanks mom)!

Summer is here and I’m so pleased! At the end of April I spent two days walking around NYC and meeting up with some friends and celebrating my besties birthday. The weather was so perfect the entire weekend and we hit some extremely Instagramable places (locations tagged below if you want to find them too)!
May 5, 2018 – Indian Brook Waterfall

A couple weeks ago I headed home to the Hudson Valley for the weekend. It happened to be such a beautiful Saturday that my mom and I decided to have a spontaneous hike to one of my favorite little spots in Cold Spring, New York. Not a difficult hike but it is definitely a beautiful one, and so refreshing in the summer heat. Indian Brook waterfall offers up shady spots to sit next to the falls and ponder life amongst nature.

Today we are talking about a makeup product that I honestly don’t use very often; foundation. I don’t use it much because most of the foundations I’ve used take forever to blend, feel heavy on my skin, dry out my skin, or just look straight cakey. I don’t think it’s just me, I’ve noticed that a lot of people who wear foundation seem to have the same issue as me. Well I’m here to say I’ve found a foundation that I love! The Marc Jacobs Shameless 24 Hour Foundation. I received it free from Influenster to try out and I’ve fallen in love.

Though we’ve had some snow on and off, I’m convinced that it’s officially Spring and I intend to dress like it! Today’s outfit gives off some young professional vibes, if you ask me. As a soon to be graduate, I’ve been trying to focus on some more put together looks for going out during the day. A long stroll through Beacon Hill and a quick stop for coffee at my personal fave Tatte Bakery on Charles St. led to the following photo shoot and my first attempt at a “baby hearts” picture. Have you heard of this new trend? Thoughts?

International Women’s Day 2018

Happy International Women’s Day to all! This year is a special one for me as it is the first year that I can officially consider myself a female entrepreneur. If you didn’t know I’m currently in the process of funding and publishing my first book! It’s titled Lost It and is a collection of interviews I’ve done with 100 people about how they lost their virginity (learn more here). I’ve been mulling over this idea for three years and since one of my new years resolutions was to make 2018 a year of “just doing it”, now is as good a time as any to see this book through! Though I’m still an emerging entrepreneur I have already met some very inspiring women who have taken things they were passionate about or curious about and turned it into a career. I’m thrilled to be able to join these women who have taken an idea and run with it, making the most out of their resources and abilities.

The weather we’ve been having has been so up and down, to say it’s been hard to dress for is an understatement, but that’s not going to stop me from showing you an outfit I have been loving lately!

Well, we made it! 2018 is finally here and for some that is a blessing. 2017 had it’s ups and it’s downs for everyone, myself included, but in this post I will be focusing on all the good that happened in my life in 2017 because there is no point in dwelling on the bad!
Purify And Unclog With L’Oreal!

Happy Soul Sunday! Influenster sent me another package, you know what that means…. It’s time to try another new product! Influenster does send these things for free and for the purpose of testing, so if you’re into trying new products than this is a great way to do it!
This time around I received the Pure-Sugar Scrub from L’Oreal’s skincare line. I’ve never tried anything from the L’Oreal skincare line before, but I’ve heard a lot of mixed feelings about it, so I’ve been interested in trying it out for myself. I try out a lot of different face wash products, I think It’s good to mix it up so that my skin doesn’t get too used to one thing and stop responding the way I want. I definitely don’t have sensitive skin so I have no worries about too harsh of an exfoliant, in fact I say the more exfoliating the better!
So, let’s get into this review.
